Etymology: Graph Theory (Berge, 1973)
PRIMARY DEFINITION
A generalized edge in a graph that can connect an arbitrary number of nodes simultaneously.
Relational Analysis & Epistemic Context
Standard graphs only permit binary edges between two nodes ($u, v$). In Nexologium, hyperedges connect entire triads or clusters of institutions (e.g. linking Cartography, 3D Graphics, and Color Science under Conformal Parameterization).
